  • Age and height Guests must be over 6 years old and at least 140 cm tall, so they can be secured in their seat.
  • Build The seats are sports car seats with three point seatbelts and there is a weight limit: if your build is very different from average, check with the staff before booking.
  • Weather In light or moderate rain the platform still goes up. With wind above 6.5 m/s or thunderstorms the session may be delayed or cancelled: in that case you get a new date or a voucher for the full amount.
  • Punctuality Arrive at least 40 minutes early: once the platform is raised it cannot come down to pick you up.
  • Refunds No refunds for cancellation or no show. The seat can be transferred to another person: write to [email protected] with your booking number and the name of the person replacing you.

How it works

  1. Board and buckle up

    You sit at the table in a sports car seat with a three-point belt, and the platform rises to about 50 metres.

  2. Dine suspended above Rome

    The chefs cook in the middle of the table, with the city all around you.

  3. Come back down

    At the end of the session the platform returns to the ground. Arrive at least 40 minutes before boarding.

What if I am afraid of heights?

As one guest wrote in a review: if you are afraid of heights, just get past it and go, you will not regret it.

Can I bring my children?

What matters most is height: every guest must be secured in their seat, so a minimum height of 140 cm is required.

Can pregnant women take part?

Yes, but it is not recommended before 3 months or after 7 months. Let the staff know when you arrive: you will get all the attention you need.

I have allergies or dietary preferences

The menu can be adapted: vegetarian, no seafood, allergies. Write them in the dedicated field when you book.

Can I smoke?

Not during the flight: it is forbidden for safety reasons at every Dinner in the Sky in the world. You can smoke in the waiting area before and after.

What should I bring?

Your booking. Bags are not allowed on board. Dress for the weather: at 50 metres the wind can be stronger and the temperature lower.

I bought a seat and cannot go

Refunds are not available: seats are blocked for you at the time of purchase. You can however transfer your seat to another person: write to [email protected] with your booking number and the name of the person replacing you. We forward the request to Dinner in the Sky; whoever replaces you must show the authorisation and a copy of your ID.
